The Role:
Based in our Sydney offices, the corporate foreign exchange sales team is responsible for all new business development activities from the initial research and prospecting of new potential clients through to conducting telephone based fact finds for our services. The team members conduct currency audits and conduct meetings in order to present our services. The Corporate Sales function is a dynamic, target driven environment where employee remunerations is based upon performance. Account Executives must be highly motivated to succeed and eager to learn within a dynamic and competitive yet enjoyable environment.
The Account Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for our services via the internet, company database(s), cross fertilization of existing HiFX clients and trade press related journals.
The position is primarily telephone based but involves prospecting meetings and relationship management skills are key in order to meet required targets. There is a career path for those that want to progress into senior sales roles, consultant roles which involves meeting senior management within companies 'face to face' to fully understand their currency risk management policy and explain the enhancements that our services will bring.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential Skills:
- Previous Sales Experience.
- Previous Tele-Sales Experience.
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Previous role within financial services.
- Has worked in a cold-calling environment within a dynamic sales environment.
